Recently, I borrowed the DVD box set of Winter Sonata to watch. And all those memories came flooding back... *weeps* Not memories of my long-lost love, but memories of my addiction to korean dramas! I've watched several others: My Lovely Sam Soon, Goong, Jewel in the Palace, to name a few. This was a very endearing addition. ♥

Winter Sonata- starring korean heart-throb Bae Yong Jun and Choi Ji Woo.



I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack! Even though some of the songs were replayed... over and over. : l Still, it didn't stop me from downloading the soundtrack online (heh heh). I recommend it to everyone! You HAVE to watch it. *glares* Really, you won't regret it. :') It made me shed a few tears too.

P.S: Isn't the guy cute? Huh? Huh huh huh?

We watched 3 movies- Blades of Glory, The Other Boleyn Girl and Step Up 2: The Streets.





Blades of Glory was pretty awesome. I found it quite entertaining and I love all the crazy moves in it! Reminds me of the time I used to ice skate- wasn't very good at it, but it was so much fun! Anyone wanna go? :P Heh heh! But I posted another picture from the movie- one I found hilarious! ;)



The Other Boleyn Girl was probably my favourite movie out of the 3. Featuring the lovely Scarlett and Natalie Portman! (From V for Vendetta!) One of the movies I've been planning to watch for a long time, actually. It was a good movie. Damn... Eric Bana, that pimp!



Step Up 2: The Streets. Oh, I had such high hopes for this, but it left me sorely disappointed. :( I liked the first movie so much, I watched it twice! Channing Tatum was so hot in that movie as well, huh? *wink wink, nudge nudge* But in this movie, there was no eye-candy at all. The dancing was pretty shit, to be honest. I'm not saying I can do better, but some of my friends are breakdancers, and comparing them to the dancers in the movie... no difference really. The acting was bad, the dancing was average, everything was just meh. :'(

Today's the last day of school! 2 week holiday baby! (H)

The teachers were pretty relaxed as well, which was cool. We got to do our own stuff in class, and typically, I was talking and being an idiot. My guy friends challenged me to an arm wrestle, and I thought, why not bro? I'll show them what I'm made of!

Ok, I was winning. I was on a roll. I was literally winning every single match, and I was thrilled! Until I realised they were letting me win. Ok. Fine. I can deal with that. I insisted, 'Take it seriously man! Don't be a pansy.' and then... I started losing. I think I dislocated my elbow several times too. :(

I'm sad.

I don't like arm wrestling any more.

We were studying poems in English class, and my teacher asked me what I thought a verse meant. My teacher paused, before saying, 'No, it means that she's holding someone's hand. It's a symbol for forgiveness and support.' Then, he turned to me and said, 'You've got a twisted mind at times, Wan.'

Once, he was telling the class about an accident, and I asked if the victim's head fell off.

I remember doing an essay once, and I completely forgot all about it. I was rushing to complete it the night before it was due, and I was sure i'd get a shitty mark for it. After all, I usually put effort into my work English since it's my best and favourite subject. But this time, I didn't have the time to. So I rushed through the whole assignment and handed it in the next day.

I got my marks back the following day, and instead of the D grade that I was expecting to get.. I got an A instead. I shrieked 'OH MY GOD!' and hugged my teacher. He looked quite terrified, but he was laughing at the same time and told me to calm down.

Whenever he answers any of my questions in class, I extend my hand and say in a formal voice, 'Thank you very much'. And he shakes my hand.

Whenever he marks the class roll, I insist on him calling me Wanny. 'IT'S WANNY.'

It's quite hilarious. The thing is, I manage to keep a straight face the whole time.

My other teachers have to put up with me, too. I remember my Home Economics teacher shaking her head and smiling that knowing smile whenever I screamed, 'I'M HERE!' whenever she called my name.

My English teacher two years ago was the awesomest teacher I ever had. Since I was the class rep (so was Rachel! wooo!) , we had frequent meetings to discuss stuff. Instead of discussing the class newsletter, I would start chatting about random things. Like the new Sin City movie that just came out. I asked him if he'd seen it, and he stared at me in horror and choked, 'It's an R rated movie.. how.. did you..?' While Rachel was laughing hysterically in the background.

Yeah, that's right. I pity my teachers. :'( All of them suffer because of me.


My first year in high school was a big step. It was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me; going to that particular school. Firstly, I would never have been reunited with my childhood best friend. We grew up together and went to the same kindergarten, but ended up going to different primary schools and lost touch. Until a familiar face approached me and said, 'Do I know you from somewhere?' on my first day of high school.

My childhood best friend and I ended up going to the same high school after not keeping in contact for several years. And she was in my class.

So, I decided to calculate the odds.

Firstly, I was hesitant about applying to go to that school. My enter score was pretty good and I had so many other options. 5 options, in fact.

Secondly, none of my friends were going to that particular school. I would be an outcast for a couple of weeks until I made new friends and started establishing a group in school to hang out with. Hence, that only made me more nervous about going to a school where I didn't know a single person.

Thirdly, what if I moved to Australia two years ago? I would never have gone to high school there.

Fourthly, we were in the same class. There were a total of six classes in my year level.

Fifthly, my parents had another school in mind for me. It was a good, reputable school and I had visited the school a couple of times. What are the odds I suddenly changed my mind and decided to apply for this one.. for no reason at all?

Took the day off work today to meet up for lunch with one of my girlfriends. We went shopping and I spent over $50 on food! Haha, I know. :D

All that walking around got pretty tiring, so we decided to get a coffee, sit down and chat somewhere. Headed over to Gloria Jean's.. and I officially embarrassed myself. Well, what's new?

I got an iced mocha, and I was chatting away to my friend at the same time. The guy at the counter interrupted me and said, 'So, can I have your name?' A little irritated at being cut off in the middle of a conversation, I said, 'No.' Then, he looked puzzedly at me and said, 'Why not?' Again, I was talking to my friend and I said, 'Pardon me?' While giving him the evil eye. He grinned and said, 'Because I need your name. We've got a few hundred customers in line, and it'd help if we knew who it (the coffee) was for.'

Then, it dawned on me. RIGHT. I was mortified! Oh god! Kill me now. I started laughing awkwardly and apologised. He was very nice about it though, and we were both laughing. It was weird and embarrassing at the same time! :P

I didn't realise what he asked. Or, rather, I didn't really pay attention to him; because I was animatedly chatting away and automatically said 'No' when he asked me a question. I thought he was asking if I wanted whipped cream on top.. or something. LOL.

Look at this, it's fantastic, blah blah blah..' I just plastered a huge, enthusastic smile on my face and nodded, adding 'That's great!' and 'Lovely!' at appropriate times. Then, with a puzzled expression, he pressed something.. and some loud gangsta music came on. Everyone turned around to look at him, while he fumbled with the phone, trying to turn it off. 'I don't know how to use this phone!' He cried desperately, while the passengers exchanged amused expressions. Did i mention it was an extremely crowded train? And no matter what he did, he couldn't turn the bloody thing off. It was my stop, and i got up to leave. Before that, i grinned and said, 'Have fun!' while he glared at his phone, jabbing buttons furiously. It was quite hilarious.

We had to do an interesting presentation in English class today. We were supposed to pair up with someone, and write a biography about them. I paired up with Stephanie, and i wrote about how she was really good at Science, and how she'd eventually discover the cure for cancer. I hope i did well! I was SO nervous.. oh my god. The entire class had their eyes on me, and i was panicking. I didn't want to stumble over my words, or even worse, stutter. :/

Well, it was Stephanie's turn, and this was what she wrote about me. I thought it was hilarious.

'She settled in her new school and environment quickly. Making friends was not a problem for her, as people were drawn to her bubbly personality and quick wit. I am seriously an irritating person to be with. Hahaha.

Working late nights and the lack of sleep has finally taken its toll on me. Today, i turned up at school with a throbbing headache, and on top of that, i felt dizzy. Desperately, i tried to ignore it, telling myself that i better 'take it like a man' and get through the day. After all, i didn't drag myself out of bed this morning, get changed for school, and THEN go back.

But i finally succumbed to my horrible, son of a bitch headache and had to be picked up from school. Gah. !#$&@


I need something to distract me. Keep me awake, or something. Gah. I just got back from a long shift at work, i'm exhausted, and i've got homework to do. It's nearly midnight. I'm sooo not going to be able to get up for school tomorrow. :(

So.. i got home, put on my mega-nerd glasses and some false buck-teeth and got to work.

Yes, i just answered my own question. I have a habit of doing that, haha. No kidding. At work, i'd greet the customers with a 'Hello, how are you today? I'm great!' and they'd stare at me incredously. I'm so over-enthusiastic at times. : l

I just got back from the movies! Guess what i watched? 'Enchanted'. Blahhh. It's a kids show, seriously! But i've seen all the other movies and there weren't any other good ones. Throughout the entire movie, Liz and i were laughing and rolling our eyes. I don't recommend you watch it, unless you're into fairy tales. Which i hope you're not!

After the incredibly boring exciting movie, Liz and i went shopping! Well, i did the shopping, and she ogled guys. No kidding. She is so obsessed! I love her though, haha. And we got lunch, before going our seperate ways. That sounds like.. a break-up story! Gosh. Well, i had to catch the train home.

I bought a train ticket, and then i realised i hadn't checked which platform it was arriving at. So i had to get out of the train station, and this ticket inspector guy came up and tapped me on the shoulder. He was in his early twenties, maybe? Right. So, he asked to see my ticket. I gave it to him, and he said, 'Can i see your student concession pass?' My god! I was getting really impatient by then, because my train was due in like, 2 minutes! @#$%^@

I had a bottle of juice in one hand, and i was carrying my oversized handbag in the other. Rolling my eyes, i said, 'Can you please hold on to this for a sec?' and handed him my juice. He took it from me and peered at it, before asking, 'What is it? Looks good. Banana? Pineapple?' I said, 'Nope, mango.' while digging in my bag frantically for my student card.

When i finally located it ten minutes later, i thrust it in his face and yelled in desperation, 'There. Can i please, please go now?' He studied the picture (which is hideous, i must say, i NEVER look good in pictures like that) and he said, 'That doesn't look like you. I'm sorry, ma'am, but you'll have to pay a fine.'

I stared at him, before gritting my teeth and saying, 'IT IS ME. CAN'T YOU TELL? GOD. I'M NOT THAT UGLY.' He stared at it again, chuckled and said, 'Ok, you can go, i was kidding.' I shoved the card back into my bag and he started to walk off, still holding on to my drink!

Shrieking, i ran up to him and said agitatedly, 'ARGHHHHH GIVE IT BACK!' He was laughing so hard, i couldn't help laughing myself. Finally, he handed it over and i ran like hell to the train station. I missed my train though.. woe is me!

Now that i think of it, he was cute.. so that doesn't matter. ;)

I was waiting in line at the grocery store today, when i heard 'FUCK OFF. You motherfucking bastard, i want to get a bloody refund for this!' A middle-aged lady with blonde hair extensions, and a Gucci bag was yelling obscenities at the cashier. Poor guy! Everyone was staring curiously and with mild amusement at them. Apparently, she purchased something the day before.. and somehow, found it unsatisfactory. So, she brought it back to get a full refund; but according to the policy, they don't do that unless the product's damaged in some way. Or past its due-by date, whatever.

She was causing such a big fuss. The manager was telling her to '.. calm down, we can discuss this matter', but she kept waving her arms about hysterically.

I seriously hope i don't get any customers like that. Oh god. She needs to go for anger management classes.

Today was fun though. One of my friends stopped by to say hi, and we were gossiping away. It was funny! When she was leaving, i said, 'How could you? You're my best friend, and you're leaving me!? That cut me real deep.' Then, one of my colleagues, Daniel yelled, 'I thought i was your best friend! Geez! That's what you told me yesterday! I don't feel special any more!'

Ha ha, it's so typical of me! Everyone's considered my 'best friend'. I should get a life. :P

It was so bloody hot in school today. Everyone was lethargic and basically yawning in class. No one could be bothered paying attention.

During lunchtime, my friends and i were hanging out behind the school cafeteria. It was particularly shady, so it provided a little relief. I piped up, 'Mm, i might lie down for a bit. The ground's nice and cool.' So, i stretched out, closed my eyes and lay there unmoving.

I was enjoying it, when suddenly someone came up to me, grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me. 'Oh my god! What happened to her? Is she breathing?' Annoyed, i opened one eye and said, 'Go away, i'm sleeping.' Then, my friend Jess rolled her eyes and walked off. A while later, this guy from my grade came up and yelled my name. As usual, i ignored him. (He's annoying to talk to.) He stood there for half an hour, just prodding me and trying to get me to respond.

Geez, what's with people!? I know i looked like a dead person, lying sprawled on the ground. But still, leave me alone! :'( It was funny though, how people kept coming up to ask if i was okay.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I just got back from work!

Today was an excellent day, thank you for asking.

There were some really nice customers today, and because of that, I'm in a good mood!

This random guy came up and said, 'Can I buy a plastic fork and knife?' I looked at him quizzically, before handing him one. 'That will be a dollar please, thank you sir.' I said with a bright smile, and he started digging in his pocket and said, 'Hang on, I've got change..' That was it. I burst out laughing and told him he didn't have to pay for it. How funny would it be if all customers were like him? I'd certainly make a lot of money from it..


I am the biggest idiot ever.

I have a bottom locker, and that means that I have to bend down, revealing unsightly cellulite and whatnot to get my books. Today, the guy above me opened the door of HIS locker, and I stood up suddenly, without realizing. Damn, I can still hear the horrible sound of my head colliding with it.

Stunned by the shock of it, I stood there, motionless, swaying slightly. Then, someone yelled, "Oh god, I think she's going to faint! Shit! Are you okay?" Thank god I recovered quickly! I rubbed my head and cried, "Yes I am! Oww.. I might get a concussion from this." and strolled away like nothing had happened. It was so embarrassing. Everyone was gathered around me, as if I was lying on the ground with blood gushing from a crack in my head or something.


I was bored, as usual.. and for no reason at all, I visited Rachel's old blog.

She's been blogging waaaaay longer than I have, and I was amazed. She's written down everything about us and school, in detail. I'd publish her blog URL here, but it's private, so I'll only publish certain parts.

Ah, damn it. Maybe I won't. It's disgraceful. :(

That seriously brought tears of laughter to my eyes! God! I remember how Rachel used to grumble about her name, and I helpfully pointed out that I knew 6 other girls with the same name as her. ;D

Sorry, I got a bit carried away there! So, where was I? Right.

The good news is- I got a job. Of course, I'm not going to reveal where I work! You might stalk me! *Stares suspiciously* Plus, I'm not allowed to give discounts to regular customers. It's a bummer, but eh. That's the way life is! Well, it's a really healthy fast-food alternative place. And.. naturally, everything's expensive. Staff get 50% off though. :)

My first day on the job was really exhausting. It's a busy place, and there's so much to do! There's a lot of pressure, too. I fumbled a bit, gave a customer the wrong change.. and ugh. I felt like crying, throwing a cajun grilled chicken salad at the customer and screaming, "Don't bloody change your order! Do you see this? Yes, it's a sharp, shiny object. It will go up your.." But I didn't. Breathe, I urged myself. Be cool and calm! A cucumber. A cool, green cucumber. And I pictured a cucumber in my head- it worked!

Obviously, you can tell I'm a bit delusional today. Please pardon me.

I've got to work after school and full-time during the weekends. I shall officially bid my social life goodbye. :( But think of all the money I'll be making! Yeah, that's right, I'm talking about money, baby! Bling bling, see the ring on my fing-fing?

I'm so glad you're my best friend. I've never met anyone like you. Remember the old saying we came up with? God made us best friends, because he knew no parents could handle us as sisters? I'll never forget that. :) You truly made these years of my life incredibly special. I'll never forget all our inside jokes, secrets and most importantly, the memories we made!

Calvin. The coolest teacher i ever had! He was a substitute teacher, and boy.. all the girls were swooning over him! Well, except me. I couldn't care less, honestly. Sure, i thought he was awesome, but i didn't exactly whip out my pocket mirror to check my hair was in place whenever he walked past.

I remember i got on the bus to school as usual.. and i was dozing off. Then, some guy sat down next to me and went, "Hi there! What a coincidence! You're from my class.. right? I'm the new teacher." I was thinking, "Holy shit.." and i shut my eyes and pretended to be sleeping. But unfortunately, he extended his hand and said cheerfully, "I'm Calvin! What's your name?"

I replied, not too enthusiastically, "We're late, by the way. It's almost 8." To my surprise, he laughed and said, "I know! I have a bit of a problem with time management." And i told him horror stories about getting into detention. We had a laugh afterwards, and i decided immediately that i liked him.

We'd walk the short distance to school together for the next few days, and there were actually girls waiting at the school gates! They'd squeal loudly, "Calvin! It's me, remember? Can i have your number?" Oh god. They all resented me! *Smirks*

We were good friends, too. Every time he saw me, he'd smile and wave. The other girls from my school would take out their guns glare at me. I could feel hate waves radiating off their pretty little made-up faces. I felt like yelling, "Stop crushing on a teacher, oh my god! He has good dress sense and he's easily the most eligible guy teacher, but I'M JUST FRIENDS WITH HIM! Ha!"

He doesn't teach at the school anymore though. What a pity! :(

I went to see a movie yesterday! Haha, i know, but it's the last day of the holidays! So. About the movie. We saw 'Disturbia'. It was rated M, for disturbing scenes or something. And it WAS pretty scary.. :(

Anyway, i was waiting at the bus stop for the bus to come yesterday. I missed the previous one, so i was the only person waiting. Then, this guy joined me, and he started talking to me.
